Ms. Dilruba Sharmin Khan is one of Bangladesh’s renowned HR professionals, boasting over 20 years of extensive experience in the field. As a seasoned Human Resources Practitioner, she has garnered expertise in various domains including HR policies, recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, industrial relations, and HRIS over the span of a decade.

Throughout her career, Ms. Khan has undergone numerous training sessions both domestically and internationally. Her journey commenced as an HR Development Manager at DHL Express, an international air freight company, in 1997. Subsequently, she served as an Organizational Development Coordinator at Action Aid Bangladesh, an international donor agency. From November 19, 2003, to December 10, 2008, she assumed the role of Plant Human Resources Manager at Sanofi-Aventis, one of the largest pharmaceutical-based MNCs. Ms. Khan also led the Human Resources Development division at United Commercial Bank as its Head of Human Resources Development. For nearly three years, Ms. Khan held the pivotal role of Head of Human Resources, Administration, and Internal Communication at BRAC IT Services Limited, a subsidiary of BRAC Bank. Presently, she serves as the Group HR Director at Akij Group, one of Bangladesh’s fastest-growing conglomerates.

Ms. Khan’s contributions extend beyond her professional endeavors; she served as the Joint Secretary of the Bangladesh Society for Human Resources Management (BSHRM) and holds a lifetime membership with the organization. Moreover, she is widely recognized as an Experiential Learning Program (ELP) based trainer specializing in soft skills topics, a role she has passionately pursued for over a decade.

Mohammad Riyad Hossain boasts over 23 years of stellar experience as a Human Resources professional.  He is a life Fellow of BSHRM. He has excelled in pivotal roles, including his tenure as the former Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Daraz Bangladesh and his previous position as the Head of HR at TBL (Pepsi Beverage).

His multifaceted expertise spans various domains, including HR policy development, performance management, training, compensation, HR restructuring, HR Information Systems (HRIS), and organizational changes.

Saiful Islam is a devoted academician with over 14 years of experience in teaching and training in Tourism and Hospitality Management at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Currently serving as the Principal at UPDATE College, the premier specialized institution for Tourism and Hospitality Management studies in Bangladesh, Saiful has played a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape of this field. His research focuses on the convergence of tourism with economic and social development, emphasizing its potential impact on society.

Remarkably, he is the founder of the Treeism Foundation, which is committed to engaging youth in environmental activities.
